Kek Gula Hangus Puan Halimah


1 cwn gula
1 cwn air panas
2 sd besar mentega
* Gula digoreng dgn api sederhana besar. Bila gula dah agak cair masukkan air panas (Bab ni kena hati2 sikit tau! Nanti dia meletop letop. Apa pun tutup api & cepat-cepat, masukkan air panas tadi sambil standby pegang penutup kuali... Lepas tu masukkan mentega kacau sampai mentega tu cair. Ketepikan.

4 biji telur
1 cwn susu pekat
1 cwn tepung gandum
2 sd kecil soda bikarbonat
1 sd kecil esen vanila

Cara-caranya:-
Pukul telur sampai kembang & pekat.
Masukkan susu pekat - Mixer hingga rata.
Masukkan tepung & soda bikarbonat yg diayak terdahulu.
Tuangkan esen vanila last sekali, masukkan gula hangus tadi.
Perap adunan ini selama 3 hingga 4 jam (bertutup), untuk mendapatkan sarang yang cantik.
Dibakar selama 60 mnt suhu oven 160 api bawah sahaja. Balance terakhir 11 minit tu pulak api atas & bawah.

KUIH BAHULU

Ingredients
3 egg yolks
4 egg whites
100gm sugar
Half teaspoon vanilla essence
100gm wheat flour
1 tablespoon tapioca flour
Quarter teaspoon baking powder

Method
1. Sieve wheat and tapioca flour together with baking powder.
2. Whisk the eggs and sugar until stiff.
3. Add the vanilla essence.
4. Fold in 20grms of sifted flour with 100ml of egg batter.

Preheat oven to 250 degrees centigrade. Lightly grease the mould (to prevent the bahulu from sticking) and spoon in batter.
Do not fill to the top. Bake bahulu for about five minutes.
Alternatively, you can bake bahulu the traditional way – using charcoal fire. You have to place the hot coals on top of and under the mould.
Bahulu keeps quite well in an airtight container, but will harden with time.

Muffin Coklat Kukus


Kali ini, kita cuba pula buat muffin coklat. Senang jer...

MUFFIN COKLAT KUKUS
Bahan A
2 1/2 cawan tepung superfine
1/2 cawan serbuk koko
2 cawan gula perang
2 s/k soda bikarbonat
1/2 s/k garam

Bahan B
1 cawan susu cair
1 cawan minyak
1 cawan air panas
1 s/k esen vanilla

Cara-caranya:
1. Panaskan kukusan dan lapikkan acuan muffin dengan paper-cup
2. Ayakkan tepung, serbuk koko dan soda bikarbonate.
3. Gaulkan semua bahan A supaya sebati.
4. Masukkan bahan B dan gaulkan rata sehingga sebati.
5. Masukkan adunan dalam paper-cup dan kukuskan selama 25 minit dengan api yang sederhana.
6. Angkat dan sedia dihidangkan.
